Beechwood is one of the only two woods proven not to split or splinter when wet, so is perfectly safe for your little one to chew on. BPA free, Cadmium free, Lead free and Phthalates free, and free from all chemicals and plastic, so perfect for little ones to chew and relive those teething pains. We use untreated beechwood, so if you find that it loses its sheen after getting wet (never submerge the clip in water as it will lose its finish and become rought to the the touch), simply rub down with olive oil or beeswax and voila! Your clip will look shiny and new for months to come.

Simply give a quick rinse in warm water or wipe with a wet wipe, and allow to dry in a shaded area.
Do not submerge any wood for any period of time in water, as it will swell and ruin the finish.
If you prefer the treated look, beeswax or even olive oil will give the wood depth of colour and an incredible sheen.
